Lucky enough.

In 2015 I was lucky enough to:

* meet my goal of reading 100 books (some of which I enjoyed)
* score my very first paycheck for a contributing writer piece
* stand on the beaches of both coasts
* go on a week-long vacation to Maine with my family
* take my very first train ride (and through Glacier!)
* fall back in love with soccer (#RCTID)
* achieve a lifelong dream of moving to the PacNW
* watch three of my most beloved friends begin families of their own
* spend my last day in Minneapolis at the MN State Fair with some of my best friends
* meet Nick Offerman

* publish THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE to some pretty rad reviews
* fall back in love with the process of writing and creating again
* meet Bethenny Frankel
* spend some major time with my neice in the former city of my heart (Chicago)

Major heart-swelling, big-breath-taking, hugging-yourself-hard gratitude to 2015, babes. Happy New Year to you and yours!

About Amber L.

Hi! I'm Amber. I've been telling stories with books and blogs since 2004. I also spent 10 years working as a behavior therapist, which I now put to proper use by publishing thought pieces and dissertations on '80s pop music and the defining TV shows of our current times ('The Bachelor', 'Vanderpump Rules', etc). I can also be credited with single-handedly ruining the city of Portland, OR just by moving here.

    • That is literally in my digital library check-outs as we speak! Planning starting it tomorrow 😉 Head on over to my Goodreads account – I thought we were friends on there already? If not, I linked to it in the post – and you can check out the full list from there!!
